Description BETAPROCESS® - Biogas
Betaprocess® Technique for Biogas Facility:
After initial crushing, the sugar beets are pumped into the Betaprocess® storage vats.
At first the sugar beet puree is brought, using an indirect method, to the desired temperature of 50°C.
The warm sugar beet puree comes into the Betaprocess® “reaction vat”, in which the sugar beet cells open and divide. In parallel, we remove from the beet mass the necessary energy to cool it to approx. 30°C.
The Betaprocess® opens the cells of energy sugar beets.
By opening the cells, bacteria have direct access to all the sugar and other substances in cells of the beet.
Moreover, this causes, according to present knowledge, a change of the molecular structure of different substances and their release. This facilitates and accelerates massively bacterial activity, fermentation, and the formation of gas.
Additional biogas yield amounts up to 15% more for the same amount of beets!
The exposure time of fermentation is reduced to 50%!
